Makes 40 to 50 Sausage Rolls For Kids Parties
Sausage rolls
Makes about -40-50
Ingredients:
I kilo of sausage mince
1large onion chopped very fine
1-cup bread crumbs
1 tablespoon of mixed herbs
½ cup of tomato sauce.
I red delicious apple
Salt & pepper.
I packet of puff pastry sheets (about 4-5 sheets)
I egg roughly beaten.
Method
Place sausage mince, tomato sauce, breadcrumbs, herbs,
Onions, Apple ,salt & pepper in a bowl and mix with your (hands)
Until mix is well combined.
In a separate bowl mix your egg and have a cooking brush handy.
Place one pastry sheet in front of you and cut in the middle
length ways. Take some sausage mix; roll it in your hands to make
a sausage shape, place it on your pastry sheet brush the edges
with egg fold the sheet over and seal it.
Cut roughly into 5 cm potions brush some more egg
over bake in a medium oven for25mins.
Now do the same with the other half of the pastry.
Until all sausage mix is used.
